All sixteen works were sold at auction on August 21 2014, at the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts Gallery, 1 Queens Wharf, Wellington.

Over 150 supporters enjoyed a wonderful evening with the Parkin Drawing Prize and BraveArt on display. Jazz trio Paul James and the Underground Sound entertained the guests. The team are very grateful for the hospitality at the Academy Galleries where all BraveArt works were sold with the top bid of $2500 being made on the Carrara Pair by Paul Stanton and Toi. Every treasured art work went to a wonderful new owner.
The CanSurvive Dragon Boat Team are thrilled with the results and which will put almost $15000 into the fund to compete in USA in October.

A Robyn Armstrong photographic print, which inspired her BraveArt work, was also auctioned with $400 sale proceeds going to the Wellington Cancer Society.
